Ok - I guess this will be my last post until after surgery on Monday and after I get home from the hospital. The countdown begins -- didn't sleep much last night worrying about stupid stuff! In any case, send your prayers my way - to keep me calm, clear and safely to the "losing side." Thank you to all my AMOS friends and this website for being so full of information and helpful advice! By for now....

Thanks Jane and Rose -- your locations are both very close to me and I intend to take you up on your offer of support while I am home recuperating after sugery. My surgery date has been moved up to Monday, June 16th and I am scheduled for pre-op testing on June 10th. Only two and a half more weeks. I'm starting to get nervous, but am convinced I am making the right decision.

Hi Nannette! Best wishes for a successful surgery and an easy recovery. Keep your thoughts positive and your focus on the 'big picture' and you'll be able to handle any challenges you may face. I live about 15 minutes from you, so if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to contact me. (I made it to 'the other side' 4/15/03 and it's been wonderful!)
