"Hello. I had Lap Band Surgery in Aug 07. I used to have a positive comment on here. It was before the surgery. I am two years out and I weight the same. The surgery was uneventful and the healing period after, hard but normal. But I wasn't losing. I lost a total of 25 pounds 2 months out, including pre-op. I endured months of verbal abuse and mistrust from the doctor, before he finally ran some tests. I had an undiagnosed thyroid problem, by this time, it was discovered I had a flipped port. after more then 1,000 dolars for more surgery to fix that, We had a suprise pregnancy. this put my journey on hold for a while of course. Each fill attempt was horrificly long and painful. My husband couldn't bare to watch me get 3 minute long needle probes 5-12 times at each fill. Twice we had to pay for outside flora help to complete the procedure. To my husband, his skills in this area are malpractice worthy. After the baby, I returned to the doctor at the weight I started this whole process only to be faced with rude attitudes and hurtful words. He no longer cares about me or my weightloss. My port has flipped yet again so I am facing yet another surgery. I am trying to get insurance to pay for this and another doctor. I will never go back to this doctor or his office again."
