Do you have cookies in your car?
Are those chips not very far?
Is that soda in your glass?
Did it come from a drive-thru fast?
Was WLS your choice to do?
Or did someone force you to?
If surgery was what you chose,
Why are you still doing all of those?
Success begins with wise choices you make,
Don't let noncompliance be your mistake,
The surgery you had was to assist your change,
Your compliance is for success long range.
So think before you decide to cheat,
Remember the goals you want to meet.
For surgery is not something you were forced to do,
It was what you wanted for a healthier you.

Grand Canyon & Southern California

On Wednesday November 1st, we headed toward Southern California. The trip could be made in about 36 hours of non-stop driving but we had two toddlers with us so we planned some stops along the way. We spent Wednesday night in Amarillo, Texas and Thursday night in Flagstaff, Arizona. On Friday, we made a slight detour and visited the Grand Canyon.
Ryan and Rowley were excited to have rocks and trees to climb on but we kept a tight grip on them to make sure they didnt try to climb the canyon wall.
Afterwards, we drove the rest of the way to California.
I had planned on doing the plateau buster diet but that went out the window very early in the trip. We ate at gas stations along the way and that should be called the diet buster diet. My diet didnt improve much when I got to my daughter's house either.
After two weeks, I flew back home and learned that I had gained 10 pounds while I was gone. YIKES!!! so I'm back to the basics again and I have already lost 8 of those 10 pounds.

My computer had been in the shop for a few days and today I discovered that OH changed the format of the profiles. I know that in the long run, this change will probably be a good one but for now.... UGH!! I dont do change very well.
