I did it! I formed my own Support Group!

After months of considering offering my own support group....I did it! So far, we've met twice. What a wonderful group of ladies! We meet on the third Tuesday of each month from 7:00-9:00 pm in the back room of Panera Bread in the Sayville Shopping Plaza on the service road of Sunrise Highway in Bohemia.
I feel sooo blessed to have lost 110lbs! This group is beginning to help me find my purpose in life. I love to help others and share WLS tips and suggestions.

Free Bariatric Fashion Show

Hi all!
Okay, I've been going back and forth with the issue whether or not to participate with the Bariatric Fashion show, but I've decided to make the commitment and go for it! I've been called many things, but never a MODEL!!!! lololololol
You are all cordially invited! It's free and from what I understand it is extremely inspirational. Many different before and after pictures will be shown. There will be numerous WLS patients modeling varying stages, before WLS, just after, a few months after, etc.
It will be at Good Samaritan Hosptial, West Islip, in the guild conference center on Saturday, 3/24 @ 10:00 am. It is free and refreshments will be served, so mark your calendars...and bring your tissues (I understand a lot of tears were shed last year!)
