Most of my life, I have been overweight. I remember my grandma telling my mom that Sue looked healthy. In other words, I didn't look malnourished. The only time I was skinny or underweight was after my mother died of cancer. She was only 42 years old. Apparently, I became anorexic in an effort to take control of my life. This is what was explained to me by a counselor who dealt with people with eating disorders. I eventually started eating again.
