It's been awhile...

Wells, it been quite awhile since I have written anything. I have started to lose weight again, and it's not anything I am trying to do. I was told to only eat 3 meals a day, and to avoid snacking. Needless to say this just wasn't helping anything. Here is what I have learned that works for me.
- Always go for the protein first.
- Eat till you are full, even if it means you will eat again an hour or two later.
- Take your supplements daily to stay healthy.
- Don't get hung up on what the scales says, but rather how your clothes fit.
I became very discouraged when a physician's assistant from the bariatric surgeons office told me that I was not progressing in my weight loss and I must not be following the plan. I was hurt beyond belief. When I saw my Rheumatologist, I told him what I had been told. He checked my ankles and hands, and found I had pitted edema. This was due to my many other diseases. I see my Rheumatolgist every 3 months to monitor my blood work.
