8 Months Out & A WOW Moment!!!!!!!!!!

First...let me start by saying I feel GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! I really do. I went to see my surgeon today and I am down 113 lbs. I SAID...113 LBS.  I now weigh 223 lbs. I can't even remember when I have seen that weight. I remember lying to people and telling them that I weighed 200 lbs but I can't remember when I actually did weigh 200 lbs. Anyway...I feel totally amazing. I have lost a whole person. OH MY GOD...an entire person has left my body. This is wonderful. For a long time I avoided the amusement parks because I love the roller coaster but I couldn't fit into them and I would be sooooo embarrassed when they asked me to get off the ride. (I always tried to fool myself to thinking that I could fit into it this time). I don't know why I did that to myself BUT now, I think that I am ready for the roller coasters this summer. I think that I can get on the ride and they will not ask me to exit to the right. I am going to have me a dayum good time this summer. WHOO HOO!!!!!!!!

Second...my daughter had business casual day today at school. She has a couple of outfits in her closet but this morning she decided to knock on my door. When she came in she said "Ma...do you have some work pants that I could wear to school today?" Out of habit I said, "Boo, you know that you can't fit any of my clothes." She said, "Mommy...you lost so much weight, I may be able to get into something in your closet." And than it hit me...I have lost an extreme amount of weight and she may be able to fit something in my closet. So I let her go in my closet and pull out a pair of slacks that I was sure that she was not going to be able to fit. She went in her room and tried on the pants and guess what. THEY FIT...well...kinda. They were a little big on her but not that big. She put on a belt and wore them to school. She really looked good in them and I was amazed. I was like "OH MY GOD...my daughter and I can share clothes." I have never been able to share clothes with my daughter and now she can wear my clothes and guess what? I can wear hers. I put on a pair of her jean shorts the other day just to see if they fit and yes they did. Can somebody please say "DO THE DAYUM THING"  LOL.

Well that is all that I wanted to say. I took an after pic at the doctor's office and as soon as they send it to me, I am going to upload it.

Oh - one more thing. I had to show my ID when i went to the doctor's office today and the receptionist said, "Shantelle, you really need to go and take another picture for your DL because this does not look like you anymore." I was smiling from ear to ear when she said that but on the real...I will not be taking another pic because I paid $35 for 10 years and it doesn't expire until 2017...
