Overdue for an update!

I am way overdue for an update, so here goes :-)
I am now hovering between 156-158 lbs and in a size 10. I ran my first 5k back in May and finished in 38 minutes which I was very proud of! I went to Disney World in June and was able to ride ANY ride I wanted to and that was amazing! I am going on a mission trip next month to Haiti and it will be the first time I've flown in a plane as an adult and I won't have to worry about not fitting in the seat, so yay! I had a bowel repair surgery in March, but have been perfectly fine since then and everything is going well in my life. I've never been happier and I can do anything I want to do :-) Last, but not least, my surgeon has cleared me to start trying again for another baby, so after my mission trip next month, we are praying for a blessing and a healthy pregnancy this time around. RNY has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I still have food struggles every now and then, but I'm sure I'm not the only one. The difference now, is that I have control over it and know when and what needs to be fixed so it doesn't get out of control. RNY gave me a new lease on life and I couldn't be any more blessed!

GOAL!

Today my heart breaks because I was 6 wks pregnant and we miscarried yesterday, but through the pain there is still some joy in knowing that today at 10 months out, I am at my personal goal of 160 lbs! After 15 yrs of being over weight, I can finally say that I am at a normal weight and I can't remember when I weighed this little, so I can't be any prouder of that fact!
I found myself again and that feeling can never be replaced!

Here is a side-by-side of me last New Year's and me now at 9 months out-AMAZING! I am SO BLESSED to have had this surgery and been so successful! I hit my doctor's goal weight at 9 months out and am only 6 lbs away from my personal goal weight of 160 lbs which I may lower to 140 or 150 lbs. I LOVE my RNY!
