I feel like my whole life has been one great big diet. When I was younger my weight was never over 150# but yet kids in high school called me Fat see ano! When I married in 78 I wore a size 12 and weighed 140. I had two girls back to back in 80 & 81 never going over 163 with either one. Then family problems and depression set in and at 27 in 87 I had gone upto 203 and my Internal Specialist said I was headed for a stroke and put me on the medi-fast diet at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. That was Feb of 88. By June I was down to 129#. Divorce followed in 89. Both of my daughters were molested by their fathers dad. It was a very hard time, but I managed to keep the weight off for several years but it slowly inched up. I met my soul mate in Feb 91 and together the two of us put on a tremendous amount of weight. At my highest weight I got upto 247 and for years my PCP kept telling me I needed to lose weight and I should get a gastric bypass. I really didn't want to do this so I started working out and got a personal trainer. From April 2010 to Dec 2011 I got down to 203#. Then I got sick with Bronchitis/Pneumonia 3 times back to back and the prednizone just blew me back up to 230 by the time I finally made the decision to go for the RNY.

So on June 12th 2012 I had my RNY at Holy Cross Hospital. My surgeon Michael Perez is awesome and I am really happy with US Bariatrics. As of July 19 2012 5 weeks out I am no longer on Metformin for sugar and no longer have to take 4 blood pressure pills. I am on my way to healthy and am so looking forward to Onederland
