Celeste: I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. I know this is something that must be devestating to you. I too had my best friend go through surgery with me on the same day and she did have some small complictions but she made it. I know that your friend would not want you to give up your hopes and dreams because of this. Again, I am so sorry and hope that you can find comfort in family and friends.

Celeste, I'm so sorry to hear of Pam's passing. We all had fears from this surgery but I firmly believe that are time here on earth is not for us to know when our time is up, only God knows and I feel we can't hurry it up or slow it down, we are going to leave here when God says our time is up and not one minute sooner. Please pray about this and I think you will make the best decision for yourself. Take care and keep the faith.

I am also 25 I have 2 daughters 4 and 1, I was terrified to go in, I asked God to send me a sign if this was a go or NOT. My grandfather was dying and was due to pass away the week before nobody thought he was going to make it even by the hour...WELL he did he made it 1 week and the funeral was Thurs, this was my sign that it was OK nobody was torn on where to be there with him or the family or with me, If you ask God he will send you somthing to let you know it is ok. You do have to pay attention and unerstand but it will come. The medical aspect is the Dr's have MANY ways of preventing things from happening, I now thank God I did this even thought the morning of I wanted to breadown on the way so I didn't have to chicken out!LOL It will all work out and GOD works in mystereious ways if your not meant to do this HE will prevent it! Best of luck! Nicole_CA 5 days post-op

I am so saddened to hear of the loss of Pam. It is absolutely tragic. I'm very sorry. I know this must be a terribly difficult time for you right now. Before I had my surgery, there was a flurry of deaths at this site and I struggled with the same issue. I wish you peace.

Celeste, My heart is just breaking for you. I wish I had the perfect words of wisdom for you to be able to make you decision. Prayer is the only answer I know right now:I Said a Prayer of Healing for you -- body, mind and soul -- That God would bring you comfort to restore and make you whole. I prayed you'd be surrounded by His awesome love and healing, Dispelling all anxiety or pain you might be feeling. Finally, I prayed you'd be uplifted by His grace, and feel yourself enfolded in the peace of His embrace. Wishing you all the best on your journey for a healthy happy new you. Godspeed. Maureen
