6th Fill Today

I went in for my 6th fill today. My doc gives small fills. I am now at 5.6 I think. Most people have more than me that had there surgery after me. I have lost another 5 pds since my last visit with doc.I have never lost weight during Thanksgiving before. This is a great thing.. I am hoping to one day get to that sweet spot that everyone talks about. Maybe this time will be the charm.

Well I thought that my last fill was going to be the one but I soon lost the restriction that I had. I had another fill today.. I am hoping that I am getting somewhere close to my sweet spot. My weight loss has slowed down. I am still losing so I am not complaining but its very slow and I really have to work for it. Maybe this one will do the trick.. I now have 4.5 total!!!! My hubby went with me today for my fill, that was special to me, he is such a sweetie.

Well I have been waiting to have restriction and I now have it. I had a fill last week and I can tell such a difference now. Yesterday I was in a hurry with my girls in between dentists appointments. We stopped to grab a bite of lunch. We went to KFC and I got a chicken thigh. I was trying to eat it slow and chew,chew,chew
.Before I knew it, I was up walking around trying stretching my neck out hoping that the food was going to go on down.. It never did, it was off to the bathroom where my lunch came back up
. Only thing that is good about this is that I know that I now have restriction and I hope that I have learned to never eat in a hurry...I really love my band
4th Fill Today!!

I went for my 4th fill today. One stick and he was there. I have now lost a total of 52 pds since the beginning of all this. I am so happy and I fill so much better than I did a few months ago.
He gave me a whole cc this time. I now have 3.9 cc's in my 10cc band. I hope that I get some restriction with this one. All is well and I love my band. I could have never made it this far on my own..

I am home, I have actually been home since tuesday just havent really felt like getting on here and updating anything. I am feeling pretty good today. I felt good yesterday just still was having lots of the gas pain. I am happy with my band choice. I seem to have some restriction, it might just be swelling, I really cant eat very much and I am full, that is a good thing.
Oh, well I will keep updating and the days progress. I am very happy to have my band, I had to put alot of time and effort into getting this and I am happy that it is all over with and I can begin my journey.

Well it is Friday May 2nd.
I am sceduled for 5:15 Monday May 5th and I am kinda nervous. I am not nervous about my decision to get the lap-band. I am nervous about surgery and what will come after it. I guess I would be crazy if I wasnt a little nervous.
I cant wait to begin my new life with my band. I know that my life will change forever. I will be a healty and happy lady for years to come.
Just wanted to write down what I am feeling. I made this decision and no matter what happens on this journey I will be happy that I was brave enough to do something that will help me.
I will update when surgery is over, thanks to everyone here. You are all so helpful.
