Hi Tami, Im in the same boat with the insurance. I have an HMO and Im having a hard time documenting the DR supervised wt loss attempt. My ins. co. only requires 6months. Ive been seeing my PCP for almost a year for diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea yada yada, and at every visit we discuss diet. However the Dr. didnt document it and the chief complaint was F/U. Im a nurse too so I know now to say "F/u and wt check" when asked for reson for visit. If I have to wait Ill wait, but I hate it. My PCP wrote a wonderful letter to the IPA stating that delaying just for documentation is idiotic and is endangering my health. GO DR BURRIS YEAH!!!!! I love my surgeon Dr Johnsrud. He's at ST Joseph. Good luck and lets get together. TA TA for now
