The Reasons Why I Wanted WLS!!

1. To you be healthier mom for my daughter
2. To live longer than my birth mother
3. To be able to run n play with my daughter without gettin worn out
4. To be able to shop in regular size stores not only the plus sizes
5. To able to play softball again
6. To gain my confidence back again
7. To feel as beautiful on the outside as I do on the inside
8. To be able to fit comfortably in airplane seat n rides like that the fair n other places.
9. To look n feel comfortable in a swimsuit,without feelin like a beached whale LOL
10. To have my daughter see that I am making good choices n hopefully she will follow in my footsteps.
Update on my journey

As some of you know I switched centers for my journey. If you wanna know why feel free to asks.
I called my PCP(for those of you who don't know what that is your reg doctor) to see if she can fax my medical info n a referral to center down in Herrin for my journey. She said she had to see me before she would,so next Wednesday @11:30 am I have an appt with her. Then on Friday March 11th I have go to a seminar down at Herrin HP. Then hopefully in April I can start my appts and actually go from start to finish(surgery) this time. For those who think this is the easy way out to lose weight you don't know the half of it. I have been tryin to get banded(get the lap band) for almost 2 yrs now. It is a long n hard journey but I think in the end it will be well worth it knowing I will be a healthier person for not only myself but for my daughter,family n friends(who are like family to me). I am lucky to have such wonderful people in my life to support me in my decision to get this done.
My Journey Toward the Band

Tomorrow will be 3rd of 6 months of supervised visits with my PCP for my insurance. Then on Jan 6th I will do a follow up with the NUT n see the Social worker. I am getting closer to getting the band done. I can't wait. I have been doing my Wii fit again too. I am getting to the point I wanna workout too. I have been eating better and less too. Drinking water and drinking maybe 1/2 a soda that will take me all day to drink too. I am hoping tomorrow I have lost a couple of lbs. I have to lose and keep off 5-10 lbs for the next 3 months for my insurance.

Update about my journey

Wednesday I went to my PCP for my 2nd of 6 months supervised visits. I found that my insurance only wants u to lose around 5-10 lbs. My next appts for Springfield is Dec 14th I do a follow up with the NUT and see the social worker. Then I go Dec 15th for my 3rd month with my PCP. I am slowly but surely gettin to my surgery.

My Journey along the way

Well the 20th of this month I started my appts up in Springfield. The dietiatin said she sees nothing that will stop me from being successful after my surgery. We figured out my problem(some of u already now my problem). I go back to Springfield on Nov 8th to do 2 classes and see the PT. Then Nov 10th I see my PCP for my 2nd month of my 6 month appts. I would like thank everyone for being there for me in my decidion to have this done.

My Day Today

This morning I started working out again. I did 20 mins on the Wii Fit Plus,I know to some of you it is now much. But I haven't worked out for a while. I lost 4 lbs since I weighted myself at my parents house a few wks ago. Yesterday was a wk of no sodas and junk food for me. Which is a deal to me cause I have never got passed day 2 before. This Saturday we go to Springfield for a seminar,sign paperwork and schedule our next appts. We are both so so excited to get started too. I am ready for a new me.

Breakfast- I had a activa yogurt peach with fiber and like 5 special K multi grain crackers
I also started my water intake I am drinking crystal light pink lemonde(made a gallon of it last nite so all I would have to do is pour it into my 20 fl oz cup I drink water out of)
Lunch-probably a caser salad with light caser dressing and sugar free pudding
Snacks- will be either raw carrots or a 8 fl oz of low sodium V8 juice(between breakfast and lunch)
Dinner-idk yet
snack- a banana with natural pb with honey(btwen lunch and dinner)
