This is IT, the morning of my lap band surgery! It's been two hard weeks of liquid protein and I'm down 14 pounds! I won't even pretend to tell you that it's been easy...'cause it hasn't, but I think it's been soooo worth it. I slept very well last night but got up way before the alarm. I'm nervous, excited and anxious but, most of all, just thrilled to be at this point. I know this surgery is my tool to success for permanent weight loss. I've so enjoyed reading all your postings here at the OH website and having made so many new and wonderful friends through this as well. I thank you all for your support and I promise to post here as often as possible about my successes and challenges. Well, this is IT and I'm so ready, so LET'S GO!
