Went to my final nutrition class today.  Lots of info. !  Kind of getting anxious.  I would like to start buying a few more things but can't really until I know if I will be approved or not.    Until then, I will just hang in there !!! 

   HAPPY VALENTINES DAY !!!   

Went to Walmart today and got lots of crystal lite and the Walmart brand.  Also got a tub of the protein that they sell.  We shall see how well it tastes.  Didn't get anything I shouldn't / couldn't use if my surgery isn't approved. 

Got my lab work, chest x-ray and EKG done this morning.  Told my family I have decided to go with the RNY rather than the Lap Band.  They are all very supportive!  My daughter is worried that she won't be able to hug me any more.  She said it won't feel the same.  I told her we will put a couple pillows between us !  LOL 

Had my first visit with my surgeon on Thursday.  After going over my chart and talking with me, they recommend me going with the RNY rather than the Lap Band.  All my focus has been geared toward the band so I have some thinking to do.
