my first impression was wow he's very young, then i thought well he put his life and time into education, i knew if he was trying to help one with surgery then he cares about other , my impression of this doctor changed when i listened to him speak in details about the surgery, he spoke very educated but chose small words for us to better understand. His staff was overly nice, all of the ladies was welcoming and i have spoke to them numerous times , each time was a friendly reminder of how caring this staff was towards other people feelings. I honestly can not find anything i disliked about him or his staff. They had a good rapport towards each other and me the patient. He told me of the web pages, the staff, and support groups if needed. And though i wanted this surgery with out hearing of the risk , Doctor made it point to explain in detail possible risk. Overall i am glad to have met this team and these doctors, they are the greatest i honestly felt comfortable and able to ask any thing i wanted and recieved a answer oppose to being nervous and left wondering.

I cant sing Dr. Irani's praises enough. He made me feel totally at ease. His office staff made me feel at ease. I never felt like I was being judged or like I was a faluire for being there.He sat with me and went over the surgery with me from start to finish.I went through Bariatric Solutions at San Joaquin Hospital.They have a very good program there so by the time I saw Dr. Irani I knew I was in the right place for me. Overall the care I recieved from Dr. Irani was excellent! HIs bedside manner and surgical skills were both great!

A very good experience, Dr, and staff very helpfull. His staff worked closely with Baratic Solutions, an baractic group of the hospital. Together they took me thru all the hoops and pre-testing requirements. Surgery was on the date I planned and I have had no major complications. I rate my overall experience as exelent

My first meeting wtih Dr. Irani and his staff was wonderful. I'm still pre-op so going through the motions, but it's a wonderful team I'm working with.

I was really impressed with Dr. Irani and his associate. They are both going to do my surgery.They answered all my questions and helped me understand things better.The office staff was very nice as well...I wil no more about his office as my surgery dates gets closer.

My first impression of Dr. Irani and his office was very positive. My mother inlaw had gall bladder surgery with him several years ago and really liked him. Everyone at his office is very kind and friendly. I went for my orientation on 2/4/05 and my surgery is scheduled for 3/30/05. The office staff especially Karen is wonderful. A LOT overworked so at times you have to stay on top of things yourself, but I have to say I am a little impatient so maybe its just me. LOL Dr. Irani is very complete and explains all the pros and cons of the surgery. There is also a PA that came in and went over everything as well.

DR IRANI WAS GREAT, VERY PLEASED WITH MY SURGERY. NO COMPLAINTS, SUSAN MARTINEZ WAS EXCELLANT, SHE IS WITH FROM THE TIME YOU START THE PAPERWORK- UNTIL YOU GO HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL, AND ANSWERS EVERY CALL YOU PLACE TO HER WITH QUESTION OR PROBLEMS.

Dr. Irani is one of the best surgeon's I've had. I would highly recommend him. I answered every question that I had with honesty and compassion. I'm 4 months post-op, and my impression of Dr. Irani and his staff remains the same. They are very friendly and helpful. It's always a pleasant experience to go into their office. I have referred several people considering this surgery in Bakersfield, to Dr. Irani's office and his surgery team. Dr. Irani strongly emphasizes after surgery care. His patients are strongly encouraged to attend all support group meetings which take place several times a month. The days and hours are very convenient. In addition, his patients are seen by the bariactrics office once a month for weigh ins. Dr. Irani was forthcoming with all information regarding this surgery, including the benefits and risks of surgery. Overall, I would have to say that through my experience with Dr. Irani, his surgery team, and his office staff, I would highly recommend him for the weight loss surgery. Dr. Irani is professional, surgical competent, and has an awesome bedside manner. To be honest, I have heard some negative comments regarding Dr. Irani's office staff, and then again I've heard positive comments from others. The above comments are of my personal experience and my peronal impressions only.

Dr. Irani was great. He was very nice and answered any questions that I had. He was as nice the day of my surgery. I was freaking out until he came in and talked to me and the jitters went away. Dr. Irani is very big on after care. Especially with gastric bypass. You have to take care of yourself or something bad will happen. They give me a booklet that I should follow that tells you what to eat and what not to. And when you should start trying new things. Dr. Irani told me the good and the bad of the surgery. He told me that i could die from the surgery but that it is very minimal.He was great I would recomend him to anyone. I liked both. All of the dr's that I talked to told me how great he was. After my surgery he came in and talked to me and told me everything was fine. That was a big weight off my shoulders.

My first impression of Dr Irani was one of being comfortable...great bedside manner...easy to talk to. Overtime my impression just gets better..his office staff are all very friendly...just as interested in the patients well being as the doctor.... his main concern is the patient and will go to bat for his patients.
Dr. Irani emphasize aftercare strongly and has a structured aftercare program that is top notch....He and his staff educated me on the pros and cons of surgery as well the risk factors...but assured me through their confidence that all would be fine.
I would rate Dr. Irani 10 out of 10 for both his surgical competence and bedside manner....Ü
