Dr. Ferrari was very cool and calm. His daminer set me at ease at once. His staff is incredable bussy and seam overworked. I do not think there was anything I disliked about the doc or the staff. well I will see about aftercare after tuesday.I had to read a very long and scary surgery risk sheet. I then spoke with the doc regarding the risk verses the long turm risks of being overweight.I will let you know about bed side manner.
My first impression was that he was a very rushed man. However seemed to be geniunely endearing towards his patients. The office staff was very helpful in the beginning. But as time has gone on, it seems that too many people are involved in your care. They have a hard time keeping all the paperwork together and getting things done in a organized effort. Aftercare is very important to him and he provides aftercare support group meetings.
Update 03/23/03-After all the problems with getting my echo results, Leigh was a big help and went out of her way to get the ball rolling and get this pushed through! Thanks Leigh!!!
Dr. Ferrari was all business. He answered my questions, but he seemed in a hurry the day I saw him. The office staff at Neweigh has been very friendly and mostly helpful.
I really liked Dr. Ferrari. He was to the point and did not have a problem with my bestfriend being in the room while he talked to me and even asked her if she had any questions. My husband was unable to go to the office with me.
The staff in his office were very understanding when i kept calling and asking have you heard anything any news yet what is going on??They did all the haggling with the insurance people. i never spoke to them at all. it has been 3 monthes from my first date of seeing them and i still have not seen a bill. i have paid co pays. his staff helped me set up appointment to get all my other tests done.
Dr. Ferrari was great. When I went into his office I had 41 questions that I wanted answered in detail. I knew he was an extremely busy man but this was very important to me. When I told him that I had 41 questions he said "no problem, this is your time". I knew he was the man for me! He answered all the questions in great detail and I was very satisfied with his answers. I did have questions regarding the risks of the surgery and he answered all of these questions in a manner that I could understand. He has a very good aftercare program and emphasizes the importance of it as well. His staff was exceptional and everytime I have had to call them they are always so courteous. I would rate Dr. Ferrari and his staff a 10+. His surgical competence and bedside manner in my opinion are both great.
First impression of Dr. Ferrari was good. Seems truely concerned with making sure all your questions are answered. Office staff very kind and supportive.
