I loved him. He is down to earth and very easy to talk to. I only had surgery one week ago today so I'll update as needed

At first, I thought he was very cocky. He has that side to him but, I am glad that meant that he was confident with himself and his work. It really eased my mind the more I met with him. As far as his office staff goes, they need severe training on sensitivity to patients and DEFINATELY NEED TO LEARN HOW TO ANSWER THE PHONE!! They never called me back when messages were left and thank god I haven't had an emergency so far (I do have Dr. Cleveland's office number now). I would advise anyone who goes to this clinic to be very clear on the pain after surgery. Make the doctor explain every aspect of your surgery so you will be better prepared that I was on the amount of pain associated with this procedure. There was not enough explanation on the aftercare. I am still unsure of what the sensations I have been having in my abdomin are and if they are normal. The surgical competence was great! I had confidence in his ability to preform my surgery but, the before education on the whole process and the aftercare needs alot of help!!

Dr. Cleveland has always answered my questions truthfully. He is very supportive with any problems or concerns you might have. His staff at the CMMC Bariactric center are all top-notch. I feel this surgury saved my quality of life and I would do it again in a New York second. Thanks Dr. Cleveland for all your care and concern.June Jones 1/10/2005

Dr. Cleveland is a wonderful surgeon. There is no other doctor in Mississippi that I would have trusted more than Dr. Cleveland. He is very professional and understanding and he has been here for me throughout this entire process. I know that alot of people have been complaining about not being able to get calls thru and office staff not returning calls, but this clinic has such a great program going. Once things calm down and things start to get organized, this program will rock!

Dr. Cleveland is wonderful. He is very helpful and kind. He will answer any question for you and fight to get what you need. His staff is great. He told me all the risk good and bad about the surgery. He asked about after care and support groups. He is encouraged by your weight loss and is concerned if you have problems. Dr. Cleveland has been great. When I was having second thoughts, he had another doctor who's on staff come to pre-op and talk with me about his journey with this surgery. It eased my fears.

I was very impressed when I first met Dr. Cleveland. He was very caring and answered all my questions with such patience. I didn't feel like I was another "number" to him. He took time to address all of my concerns. The staff members were just as great. They assisted me through all the various channels for the surgery approval with my insurance. I couldn't of asked anymore from them. If you are considering surgery, I would highly recommend Dr. Cleveland. He was completely up front on the risks of surgery but also the success. I would rate them excellent for surgical competence as well as bedside manner.

Dr. Cleveland was wonderful! I have been impressed with his program. He is very serious about what he does and is committed to helping people with this process.

I adore Dr. Cleveland, and the staff. I don't feel like "just a number" with these guys. They know me by my first name and remember specifics about my case without having to look at the chart all the time. That's a personal touch you don't get all of the time. When I had a small complication, Jeannie even came to visit me and brought me a surprise!

I felt very informed long before I ever had surgery. The seminars and support group are great educational tools, both pre and post op. The staff held my hand through every step of getting approval. They are so helpful. I have had to call after hours before and was very pleased with the response time (it was immediate) and care that I received from one of Dr. C's associates. I feel very supported, and would recommend this group to anyone.

Dr. Cleveland has incredible bedside manners, and makes you feel right at home. He answers any and all questions you may have. He doesn't rush you out of the office. He will also go the extra mile for you when needed. I look forward to each visit with him and can't wait till my next one! :-)
