Dr. Wright is amazing. Very compassionate and caring. His care of my during my surgery was exceptional. I would without a doubt in my mind recommend to to anyone considering weight loss surgery.
Dr Wright was very encouraging and provided answers to all my questions and concerns. His office personnel were also great in dealing with my insurance and post op questions.
Met Dr. Wright for the first time last week and he is an amazing man with a strong desire to help provide the tools necessary to make life long weight loss a journey of success.
Not the warmest of people, a little condescending, but a great surgeon.rnI had no complications with my procedure. The office has some ridiculous requirements for pre-op that my insurance didn't require.rnDid not like to have to see the nutritionist in his office, who does not file any type of insurance, and charges a total of $300 for the three mandatory visits.rnOverall, I got my surgery quickly, well done and completely covered by the insurance. I would pick him again if I had it to do over.
Dr. Gerardo Carcamo M.D. and his team were very nice they took very good care of me. He's very thorough when I met him for the first time 05/05/09 I said to myself is this the correct doctor because he didn't look like his picture. He said well I'm not doing your surgery tomorrow. I have a liver problem that he just found out about I really never found out why he found out so late in the game but I was greatful that he wanted to do do more test to make sure everything was fine before he did the surgery. He and my doctor consulted with each other and both came to the same conclusion that it was okay to proceed with the surgery. I was very pleased with Dr. Carcamo I already recommend him to two people. I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Carcamo.
I have only seen Dr. Wright two times so far and so far the two visits have been wonderful! Dr. Wright is a very caring and understanding Doctor, I would recommend him for anyone who is considiering Lap-Band weight loss surgery! I'll keep you all informed on my progress and experiance with Dr. Wright...
Dr. Carcamo was very straight forward. He informed me of all risks involved.He said he would still do the surgery if that is my wish. He spent time with me and was not rushed. Although I am just in the early stages of this journey, I believe I made a great choice in going to the STS @ the NIX.rnrn
Very personable and friendly. The staff he works with are great. I chose him after attending a group seminar. He performed my surgery and came to see me right before to calm any fears. He's really nice. I would rate his overall performance as \"Outstanding\". He made me feel like a normal person and he was just there to help.
I have been so grateful to have Dr. Carcamo as my surgeon. My husband had the lap band one week after I did and he was so great for both procedures. He is extremely detail oriented and very meticulous which made me feel confident in his ability as a surgeon. He wanted to take out my gallbladder first since I'd had longstanding problems with gallstones. He was great with that too.rnrnI highly recommend him!
