Tallahassee Memorial Health Bariatric Center

Well I have changed surgeons. I really liked Dr. Daly, however he is 4 hours from where I live. My friend ask me to go to a seminair that a Dr. Sieloff in Tallahassee, FLa was giving. That is who she wanted to use. So I went. I really liked him. So I have looked into changing. I still have my same surgery date and Tallahassee is only 1 hour from my house. I have taked to several people about Dr. Sieloff and he seems to be very well talked about. I wish I knew he was there to start with. I could have saved myself a lot of trouble.

Dr. Siloff is very good surgeon. I have talked to many people in the medical field here in Tallahassee and have received nothing but praise for him and his skills. His office staff are very friendly and informative. They are always there for you. He has a quite bedside manner. He gladly answers all your questions, but does not offer a lot on his own. He does have a very good booklet available.

I had my consultation with Dr. Sieloff today and it went great. He is very sincere and explained everything to me. I had a list of questions and he answered them. His office staff, Tracy, and his nurse, Jody were very helpful as well.

Dr. Sieloff has an excellent bedside manner, and he is very caring. However, he does sometimes feel a bit detached.
This impression was only supported over time.
Dr. Sieloff's office staff is very helpfull and very supportive. You can call with questions and they will happily answer them.
Aftercare is highly emphasized. One day, his nurse called me, unsolicited, because she wanted to make sure I felt better than I had the week before.
Dr. Sieloff was very open about the risks of surgery. He told everyone how many procedures he had done, as well as how many patients had complications and what those complications were. This was in addition to telling about all possible complications.
Both competence and bedside manner are greeat with Dr. Sieloff. I had no problems with my incisions, and very little pain. I was also very confident in Dr. Sieloff.

I really liked Dr. Sieloff and after talking to him I know he will preform a good surgery. He is patient, kind, and best of all he doesn't make you feel "abnormal" because of your weight. He does make sure that the surgery is medically neccessary, which built my confidence that he cares about the patient vs. wanting to make money. He gave me a booklet about his method and his recommended diet. Best of all a patient helped put it together. The staff there is wonderful. His nurse Jody and his insurance assistant Tracy were helpful, available, and reassuring. I'll let you know more after surgery.
Six months after surgery and I still think Dr. Sieloff is the best surgeon around. I have had no complications and I know that Dr. Sieloff saved my life.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF DR. SIELOFF WAS THAT HE WAS A DR. WHO CARED ABOUT ME AS A PERSON AND HE WANTED WHAT WAS BEST FOR ME. HE DID NOT TRY TO PUSH THIS SURGERY ON ME. HE LET ME MAKE THE DECISION. HE WAS VERY HELPFUL DURING THE INSURANCE PROCESS AND HIS STAFF WORKED WITH ME ALL THE WAY THORUGH THE SURGERY AND EVEN AFTER THE SURGERY. HE HAS ALWAYS BE THERE TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS WHEN I FELT SOME WERE REALLY DUMB. HE DID NOT THINK THEY WERE. HE HAS BEEN THERE FOR ME FOR THE PAST 11 MONTHS. THERE IS NOTHING I CAN SAY THAT IS NOT GOOD ABOUT HIM. IF I HAD TO DO IT AGAIN HE WOULD BE THE ONLY DR WHO WOULD DO MY SURGERY. I RECOMMENT HIM TO EVERYONE I KNOW. HE DISCUSSED ALL THE PROS AND CONS WITH ME AND THERE WAS NEVER A DOUBT IN MY MIND THAT I HAD A GREAT SURGEON WHO WAS GOING TO LOOK AFTER ME THROUGH IT ALL. I WOULD RATE HIM AS AN APLUS SURGEON.
