Tallahassee Memorial Health Bariatric Center

Dr. Sieloff is wonderful. He has explained on the risks to me and even though I didn't initially qualify for the surgery through Florida's Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance, he wrote a letter indicating because of all my other medical problems that the surgery was indeed needed. He has a wonderful staff, especially Jody and Tracy. I'm hoping that by having the surgry it will eliminate a lot of other health problems that I have or least I know it will it solve some future problems.

My first impression of Dr. Sieloff was a caring, considerate doctor. The more I talked with him, the more I became comfortable with him. Jody was helpful and his secretary was kind. There wasn't one thing that I disliked about the doctor on this first visit to him. If anything comes to mind or if my impression changes, I will make note and post it. If you are using Dr. Sieloff, you better get in to see him because he has quite a waiting list. I forgot to ask him about the aftercare or program, and he didn't offer any information on this subject. We didn't discuss the risks of surgery because we felt that after my previous six surgeries, I know about the risks of surgery. I would rate Dr. Sieloff a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. Both of his mannerisms were great.

My first impression of Dr. Sieloff was that he was very professional, caring and concerned individual. If anything, my impression has not changed. His office staff were from the initial office visit the nicest people I have ever met. That is not a compliment I just hand out either. I can not think of anything that I liked least about him. He is a very professional person. He stressed to me everyday during my stay in the hospital about aftercare, before I left I had telephone numbers and everything I need to make my follow-up appointments, etc. I have not had my first appointment yet, but I will let you know what I think about his aftercare program. During the initial consultation visit, he explained to me what would take place during surgery. I would rate Dr. Sieloff as an overall "outstanding". Highest being surgical competence and next being beside manner.

Dr. Sieloff seemed very nice and was very informative. He answered most of my questions with confidence and to the point. His staff was extra supportive thru the approval process. I called there my fair share of times, but each time I was treated nicely. And I want to say I appreciate Tracie's help.

Dr. Sieloff was very thorough explaining the whole procedure. He began the consultation by going over any medical problems I have, diets I have been on, etc. He explained the surgery process in detail and what to expect after surgery. He was very nice and seemed very caring. He answered most of my questions before I had a chance to ask them.

Dr. Sieloff and his staff were very helpful and answered any and all questions that I had. Dr.Sieloffs nurse, Judy, even introduced me to the person who files the insurance work and she was very helpful.
He emphasizes aftercare and from other people that I have talked to, is very concerned about all his patients.
I will let you know more when I meet with him again.

I was very impresssed with the Dr. and the entire staff, very informative and friendly..They approved me, just waiting on the insurance company.

My initial visit was August 28, 2000. I have never encountered any physician that was as nice and acutally cared about his patients and did not see them as a another $$$ ! Not only was he and his staff woderful he was also cute!! ;-) A plus ladies!!!! He was very informative, not judgmental nor critical.
