I thought Dr.Ganser was great from the first time I met him at the weight loss seminar he was giving. When I had my surgery he explained every thing very well and was always willing to answer any questions I had. His after care is great and I love his staff I would highly recommend him to any one having weight loss surgery.

Dr. Ganser, what can i say except \"What an awesome Dr.\" He is very thorough in explaining everything. His office staff for the most part, really understand what you are needing or going through and are there to help...Patrick, a nurse there has to be the funniest humored man I have met in years, he also went out of his way to get the paperwork faxed back to my job after hours so I can get back to work, THANKS PATRICK! On a scale of 1-10 I would rate WBI as a 10 on their weight loss program, they do really see to it that you are very informed...The only thing so far I have not liked is the Remedy Site is not very active or freindly and for the money we all paid for that, they should really get it up and going good so it can be of more use to us...

My first impression of Dr. Ganser was he seemed very compassionate, kind and a good sense of humor. He was the surgeon who led the free seminar and I liked his statistics so I picked him. The office staff at WBI has been nothing but wonderful. When I have called they answer the phones and my questions. They provide you with so much information so you know what you are getting into. Dr. Ganser answered all my questions he even reassured my 14 yr. old who had received mis-information from a teacher at school.

'Dr. Ganser is the consummate professional. He is my surgeon of choice and have recommended him to everyone I know and will continue to do so. Office staff is lackluster at best. I am 2 years post op and have not heard from him or his office regarding follow-up or aftercare. I stopped calling the office about 3 months post-op when I couldn't get return phone calls from the Rn. When I have acute issues I see my family Dr. Though I feel like regular visits with Dr. Ganser or his Nurse Practitioner would be more helpful as far as watching blood levels/nutrition and maintenance of my weight loss. I know it is my responsibility to become a nuisance to the staff if I want the service I deserve but I don't feel I should have to. Again

I have only had one consult with him and I was very impressed with him. He was a knowledgeable, polite doctor. He took along time with us and answered all of our questions about the surgery. His patients advocate Billie has been great.

Dr. Ganser made me and my husband feel comfortable. His office staff seems to busy, sometimes to busy for my ideal picture of who I'd want to deal with. His bedside manner is amazing he is very nice and doesnt mind me being crazy silly about things. He is quick return any calls and is just an amazing surgeon. The more I deal him the more I think he is by far the best in the area. He is absolutely great and I would recommend him to EVERYONE.

Dr. Ganser was very kind, attentive and gentle. I have nothing but great things to say about him.

I've had very few problems since my surgery. Dr. Ganser did a terrific job.

I wasn't as impressed with the RN that oversees the gastric bypass program. She came across as somewhat cold and distant. She seemed competent but hard to talk to. I haven't gone in for follow-ups because I really didn't want to deal with her. I've lost my weight slowly and not nearly as much as I'd hoped but I'm still working on it. I'm down approx. 80 pounds and still losing inches.

My first impression was that he was very comforting, understanding, and extremely knowledgable about his work. My impression has only gotten better. The people in his office were very busy people and it was very difficult while going through the insurance portion. Their is nothing that I didn't like about him. He follows you very carefully afterwards along with his APN at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, and every year thereafter. Also if you need any other help or have questions they always have someone available to help you. They also have you do labwork and other neccessary testing as time goes on. Dr. Ganser was very honest about the risks and explained everything in detail but he did it in a way that made me understand and feel comfortable and confident in him. I had already been researching the surgery and educating myself prior to consult with a surgeon and it also took me 18 months of struggling with my insurance company before they approved surgery. I understand that noone is perfect but honestly their was nothing negative about the experience except like I said before the submitting paperwork to the insurance company. It was not a positive thing for me and you really can't rely on anyone to make sure the paperwork and the correct paperwork makes it the appropriate person unless you stay on top of it yourself. Both Dr. Ganser's surgical competence and bedside manner were great.

Dr. Ganser is very professional, reassuring and compassionate. He also has a great bedside manner, which for this type of surgery, is a very important componant. I felt as if it was as important to him, as it was to me, for me to have this surgery. He could tell I was petrified, but his presence and confidence gave me the reassurance I needed to take this first big step.

The office staff at Western Surgical is absolutely awesome. They understand every aspect and guide you step-by-step through the entire process. Melissa was the best, seeing her smile just as I was going into surgery and the last thing before I fell asleep, was very comforting.

Western Surgical has an extensive aftercare program. They want you to succeed as much as you want to.

I felt the surgery risks were addressed honestly and openly. Dr. Ganser nor his office staff tried to minimize the risks at any time, however, they focused on the positive aspects.

On a scale of 1-10, I would rate Western Surgical at a 15, I would rate Dr. Ganser at least 20!

I liked him very much. He made me feel very comfortable.

The office and staff are excellent!

Since I have not undergone the surgery yet I can't comment on any other questions.

He will be doing the RNY laproscopic surgery.
