Dr. Pryor is terrific. I would recommend her to anybody. She's caring and sensitive and straightforward. She specializes in laproscopic surgery, and has done the procedure many many times. She visited me twice a day while I was in the hospital, and took a lot of time to discuss things with my husband immediately after the operation.
The practice she belongs to has a very structured pre and post op care program. On staff there is a PA, a psychologist, and a dietician who all work with you to construct a plan for life.
The risks of surgery were reviewed with me on multiple occassions. They did not want you going into this without knowing what any or all outcomes could be, but they weren't gruesome about it.
The office staff is very competent and keep things moving along. They told me it would take appoximately 90 days from the time I submitted my application. 87 days later, I was on the operating table.
