Dr. Sax is a genuine caring man. He has hands of magic. Although at times he seems rushed I know that he did a excellent job in the OR. Maryanne at his office was a great help and is very nice. He is very relaxed on after care and it made me not worry that I would be doing something that I should not do, it helped me stay focused on what needed to be done and do it. I would put Dr. Sax at the top of the scale, a 10, he has great surgical skill and bedside manner, he is the best!

I had severe complications from my surgery. I just want everyone to know that there is a down side to this surgery. I got good care from my surgeon and actually owe my life to him. I had some negitive experiences with the hospital, mostly with the nurses, while in a coma they wern't very good to me. I was not turned and ended up with stage 4 bedsores and their answer to my family was that she's sooooooooo big ! Thats what I was there for. Surgeon - good - Some nurses - not so good.

I think Dr. Sax is a wonderful man and very helpful.
I only liked him more.
MaryAnn is very friendly and helpful.
Having to wait so long to get into see him.
He does great work and cares about his patients.
alot
not really
very direct and to the point.
From 1 to 10 I would rate him a 10+
Both are great and he is friendly enough that you aren't affraid to ask questions.

I liked Dr. Sax. However, he seemed a little bit distracted. You really have to pin him down. He was has been very upbeat about my progress, but I don't think he is the type to hold anyone's hand. At first, I thought that he was not very considerate about my feelings, after the surgery I found that he was caring, however,he is very busy. I really like his office staff. They are very caring and try very hard to listen to the patient's needs and to help out whenever possible. I did not like that Dr. Sax was so busy. I would have liked some more of his time. I would consider going to support group meeting where Dr. Sax speaks. I have heard that he is very nice to listen to when he has the time to talk without being rushed. Dr. Sax's after care was not extremely structured, although, he did have a visiting nurse come and see me for 2 weeks after the surgery to be sure that I was okay and taking care of myself. He spoke very candidly about the risks of the surgery and of the risks of not having the surgery. I would rate Dr. Sax with a (9) out of (10). He was very good to me. He is just very busy. His bedside manner and surgical competence are the best. He was very careful with me and my health needs.

Dr. Sax is a very caring person. He took time to answer my questions and was very supportive on the day of my surgery. He explained the procedure he would be doing and also tried to make me feel at ease. I am very pleased with him and his staff. If I have any questions they are prompt with returning my phone calls.
The only requirment after my surgery was to be on a completely liquid diet for 2 weeks post op. I had boost. It agreed with me..then the diet progressed over the next few weeks, now I am able to try everything and am doing fine.
Dr. Sax is very knowledgeable and his bedside manner is awesome. I would highly reccomend him and his staff.
