Jann Holwick Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Holwick is very professional, but very up front. I felt at ease instantly when I saw her doing her interviews in sock feet and her socks had cats all over them. She is not the most personable person, but I can understand, she seems very busy. I feel confident that she will do her medical best to take care of me and see me through. She is very structured and does emphasize a lot on aftercare, something that my first Doctor Dr. Davies did not do. She is taking precautions so that I do not get pregnant, and making sure that I understand all the necessities to maintain a healthy body.

LET ME SAY, THIS IS A WOMAN WHO KNOWS HER STUFF, SHE AND HER STAFF ARE THERE FOR YOU, FROM THE VERY BEGINNING SHE GIVES YOU A SHORT FILM TO VIEW OF WHAT THE PROCEDURE IS AND WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO EMBARK ON IF YOU ARE SERIOUS, THEY DON'T DRAG THEIR FEET!!
OVERALL I WIOULD RECOMEND HER TO EVERYONE IN THE LOW MOOR,VA AREA. WHEN I SAY EVERYTHING
WAS EXPLAINED I MEAN EVERYTHING.I GIVE HER A 8 SO FAR AND THE REST IS YET TO COME!!!!!!!!

Dr. Holwick is a wonderful Dr. I have heard nothing but good about her.Her staff are very helpfull and friendly. I haven't had my surgery yet, so I can't answer the other questions yet.

I liked Dr. Holwick. She was very encouraging that I would be approved and put me completely at ease. The office staff was nice and I am hoping to get to know them better. I rate Dr. Holwick an A+ overall. I think surgical competence AND bedside manner are equally as important.

I have only had one consultation with her, the staff is very friendly and effecient they got insurance approval almost instantly and Dr. Holwick spoke very frankly about the advantages and disadvantages with myself, and even invited my husband to join us in the consultation.

She did a great job. We all see the PA most visits. Office staff are all very kind and understanding. Her surgical competence is unquestionable. She has done this procedure many times and will be starting Lap procedure soon! At 6 weeks post-op I have no complaints. She is a GREAT doctor. So far I am very happy! Aftercare seems to be very good, with scheduled follow up visits frequently at first tapering off as you heal. I rate her a 10!

This is to let possible new patients know that Dr. Jann Holwick will be starting to provide gastric bypass surgery via laproscopic procedures around May of 2001 per her office.

With my first visit to Dr. Holwick, I felt very comfortable and at ease. She and her staff make you feel this way, they are very pleasant and friendly. I am sure that this will continue to be the experience with them.

DR, Holwick was very nice and helpful, answered all of my questions also took quiet abit of time with me. Her office staff was very nice and pleasent easy to talk to and very helpful. Dr, Holwick has performed approx. 900 of this procedures with two deaths. She put alot of emphasis on proper follow up and care.She explained that this was major abd. sugr and had all the risk of such.I would rate her a 10.
