I can't say enough good about Dr. Rosen. He took the time to explain everything to me and my Mom. Kept my Mom up to date on what was happening during surgery. He made sure Mom was well informed how I was doing after surgery. Dr Rosen is a very caring MD. He is very cautious with his patients and very protective as well. I have seen this as an RN working with his patients and now have had the good fortune to have experinced it from a patient's point of view as well. I highly recommend this MD to anyone looking for a surgeon.

I think Dr Rosen is a very caring dr. I am so glad the center in Belevidere closed down. I would have more problems then I would know how to handle. I have been told its hard to find a dr to do fills if you can not get them from the dr who did surgery, at the best you are fit in around their patients. rnI had some trouble in surgery with the heart, but Dr Rosen took good care of me and there wasn't any thing wrong with it. I am afraid that if I had this surgery done at the first place things might not have turned out in my favor. rnI spent one night in the hospital had numerous test done to make sure things was ok with my heart.rn I think Dr R has a good bed side manor, his staff and wife are so kind that they make you feel like family.rnI had my 4 yr old grandson with me the day I meet with everyone, and he was annoying like all 4 yr olds are, Barbie gave him paper and caryons and he was making pictures for all the staff. Dr R's staff was patient with him and that scored big with me. rnI would recommend Life Weigh Bariatrics to anyone intrested in lap-band or RNY. rnYou can rest assured you would be in good hands!!!!

What can I say… Dr. Rosen is an extremely talented surgeon with a terrific bedside manner. He has a great sense of humor and really makes you feel at ease because he is down to earth and extremely easy to talk to. The entire staff at LifeWeigh Bariatrics is so helpful and continually go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that your entire experience is a pleasurable one. This is a full service program that not only prepares you for your surgery but follows you closely through your entire post-op journey to make sure that you stay on track and learn the life altering traits that will ultimately make you successful. Dr. Rosen and his entire staff truly care about their patients well being and I can honestly tell you from personal experience that you can’t be in better hands if your considering a procedure of this magnitude. I would like to thank everyone at LifeWeigh Bariatrics for helping me become the person I always hoped I could be!

I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Rosen and the care he has provided both before, during and after my lap band surgery in April 2006.rnrnI have had some minor complications with my band that have slowed the prgress in my weight loss until they can be resolved. Basically, my band could not be filled for a period of time due to a port infection.rnrnDr. Rosen has been absolutely supportive of me during that time and has worked with me to find the best solutions for me both as a patient and a person.rnrnDr. Rosen has an excellent bedside manor. His staff is well trained, compassionate, and knowledgble.rnrnI'm about halfway to my weight loss goal now. There is no one that I would recommend to people considering weight loss surgery more than I would Dr. Rosen.rn

I contacted Dr. Rosen's office the day after I heard that Barix Clinic in IL was closing and Dr. Boe was only doing one more week of surgeries. Barbie was so kind and understanding about my situation and scheduled an initial appointment right way as I was approved for surgery already. I was very impressed with Dr. Rosen and his staff. Dr. Rosen was warm, friendly and answered all our questions.rnThe nurse Barb, dietician and exercise physiologist were great and really addressed the importance of pre and post op programs. Dr. Rosen at my pre-oprnappointment discussed surgical risks to great extent and helped reassure me about my decision to have lap RNY. My husband and I are very pleased with Dr. Rosen and his staff and we feel that Lifeweigh Bariatrics was even a better choice than my original choice of Barix Clinic. It is closer to my house, the staff is small, they get back to you right away regarding insurance info, questions, test results and their pre and post op programs seem to be more thorough. Thanks Dr. Rosen for taking me on as a patient!

Dr Rosen puts you right at ease from the minute that you meet him. He explains everything to you in simple terms and there isn't a question that is stupid to him. Life Weigh Bariatrics staff are all fantastic, helpful to the 'enth degree. The all are there to help you succeed in your goal to get thin. They will answer questions until you are blue in the face. Check Life Weigh Bariatrics web site for all of the information regarding their program. Their web site is www.lifeweighbariatrics.com They have a complete well rounded approach to your pre and post op care. I can honestly say that I do not have a negative thing to say about this group of doctors.

Dr. Rosen was an excellent, surgeon, advisor, coach, and friend throughout the preparation phase of the surgery. rnrnHe is interested in the complete solution, i.e not a quick fix. His team's focus on nutrition, exercise, precare, and after-care shows a true commitment to his patients.rnrnHe handled both my wife Leslie and my lapband installation. rnrnHe is the real deal both in the office and at the table. I was back on my feet in 6 hours, took a 6 hour car trip 40 hours after suirgery, and driving after 3 days.rnrnGary and Leslie Norgren

I didn't meet Dr. Rosen until my pre-op appointment. He was very relaxed and was easy to warm up to. He was willing to answer any questions and covered all the details (including possible complications) in an easy-to-understand manner. My support person and I both walked away with a very good impression of him, which has only gotten better over time. He definitely emphasizes aftercare by having you meet with a dietician and exercise physiologist only two weeks after having surgery. I had some problems with my heart rate after surgery and he kept close tabs on me until my other physicians were able to determine that the problem was with one of my medications. His office staff are some of the nicest and most caring people you would want to meet. I have always been treated well each time I have visited the office. I look forward to attending the monthly support group meetings. I have had nothing but good experiences with the team at LifeWeigh Bariatrics.
