Dr Rogers was rather abrupt my first visit with him. The day of my surgery he was the same never saw him after that. The staff was OK. When I returned for my post-op check he had moved else where so wasn't impressed with that.

I was very impressed with dr rogers , he was forward in letting me know how the surgery would work but also how it could fail he made me feel comfortable in my decissions in making this journey, unfortunatly dr rogers has since left the batrix clinic in ypsilanti michigan he will be missed,

I found Dr. Rogers to have tons on information and he wanted to make sure that I understood what I was doing and how it would change my life. He was very clear about how serious WLS is and the risks involved. I did not at all feel like I was being "sold" WLS but informed about it.
My feelings that he was the right doctor for me only became stronger the more I saw him. The day of my surgery he stressed to me that this was Major Surgery that I was about to do and he wanted to make sure I understood that.
Many of the other people talked about humor, I thought he was serious in the beginning. As he should have been -- it was a major thing I was about to do. Yeah, jokes make some people feel more at ease but it was not a time for jokes. He is a funny guy and I saw that more after my surgery when I was in recovery. You see it with the way he and the staff get along.
BTC has a great after care program, and I could not say enough nice things about that place.
I also really liked how I saw him at least once everyday that I was in there. It was not just a super quick in and out visit. Also when I did have a reaction to some of the pain meds he did not just change my meds but had me checked out head to toe. Keeping me informed each step of the way.
Due to an auto accident I have been in and out of Hospitals and seeing Doctors quite a bit and I would definitely rate him in the top 3 of all I have seen.

He was very percise, to the point.

He became strict and to the point but willing to answer any questions.
The staff was fine.

That he will let you go home or off scheduel when he is ready for you to go!!LOL
Exstremly!!!!

Every patient is different

like any other surgery.. Things can happen but he explains all the risks...

I found Dr. Rogers to be very frank and to the point. He didn't offer a lot of fluff or crack any jokes. His staff need to take a couple of sensitivity courses when it comes to communicating with the patient. The good Dr. was also very frank when it came to addressing the risks of surgery. He told me point blank,"you can die". Wow! That's been in my head every since.

1- Very professional, Do what he says or don't bother him.
2-I still have the same impression, but now I understsnd why he means what he says.
3- Office staff i would give a 4 out of 10. They were good in some areas and not in others.
4- Hard to get a hold of if you need to talk to him.
5-Just understand he is there for your health, and if you are not serious about what your doing he doesn't want to be bothered, He has people that will do as he says.
6-A LOT, Excercise. and eat the right foods, and get the protein in.
7-Yes, as far as blood work, every 3 months I have to get my blood checked.
8-You know I don't remember.I'm sure they did.
9-Overall, Dr. Rogers is a great surgeon, BUT do as he asks you to do, or he will get in your face about it. But he is a very very fine doctor.
Ha HA HA, Most definitly surgical competence. Bedside manner is about a 5 out of 10.

He was very professional. My sister works at his hospital as a respiratory therapist and she picked him for me because she believes he is the best there. She said he had the best bedside manner. The people at Bariatric center are great. They are so helpful and they just want to make sure you are at ease. At first I was a little scared because I have only met him twice and he didn't seem to remeber meeting me the first time but when he walked up to my sister and said I see we finally got your sister scheduled, that made me feel a little better. I am scheduled to have my surgery in on April 9th.( only 11 more days to go) I will be able to rate him more after that.

My 1st impression of Dr. Rogers was that he was professional and to the point.

The staff was wonerful.

He is Direct and to the point. As any good doctor should be.

Dr. Rogers stressed the importance of aftercare.

He advised that the aftercare program will be talked about more thoroughly at Pre-Admission Testing.

Dr. Rogers explained tbe risk of surgery and did not down play anything.

I rate him an 8.

I think Dr.Rogers is very straight and to the point. He is a blunt Doctor. He is very informative and very helpful so far hes been a great Doctor. But he doesn't have alot of bedside manner. He staff was very quick and pleasant.
