My first impression was that he was down to earth and did care about me. I was well informed but he was very informative. At this time ny impression has not changed. The office staff I met the first day was friendly and helpful. So far I haven't found anything I dislike about the Dr.. The only thing I have found that I was unhappy with thus far is the way the process has been drawn out. I have BC/BS of AL which requires that I be seen by the Dr. before anything can start. I had to wait over a month for that appointment. After I was approved it was 21 days before I got a date and the date was 50 days away. Of course I am a very impatient person. Dr. C has a very good after care and support program. He did address the risk of surgery. So far I like him.

That he is a great doctor and I think highly of him. He has a grat bed side manner. He was highly talked about by thr hospital staff also. Everyone I came in touch with loved him which made me feel secure.

He was very clear about everything he also has surport meetings which I went to before my surgery . He headed them and answered all our question needs. I was very impressed that he had surport groups going for us he has two one for pre op and post op

For me I think he was a great doctor nad I rate be highly

It would be impossible to have a better surgeon than Dr. Champion. I 'interviewed' several different surgeons before selecting who I wanted to do my surgery, and I definitly selected the best.

Some of the better surgeons are impossible to get in to see, and you are often made reschedule wait hours in their office. Not so with Dr. C. He is also more affordable than most.

He is technically outstanding, affordable, and kinder than a grandfather. What more can I say??

The day I was to meet Dr. Champion was a rather scary day for me, but he calmed all of my fears. He was extrememly nice, and very helpful. Dr. Champion answered every question I asked with patience and understanding. The part of the consult that stands out the most in my mind is when my stepmother looked him right in the eye and asked him if it was his daughter would he do this surgery on her and he said, "absolutely." It calmed a great many of our fears! His knowledge of the subject was astounding and his ability to quote so mnay statistics!

His office staff is courteous and easy to work with. They function well with out-of-state patients. Dr. Champion is great!
He explains the surgical procedure as well as the post-op diet in detail. You will never feel rushed...he gladly answers all of your questions. He is a true professional, and has a compassionate and caring bedside manner--he's the best!

Hi have not been here for a while because i have been in the hospital with asthma. I have chosen a physcian Dr. Champion of Marietta Ga. So far I still must have my psych exam before Dr Champions office will send by paperwork to Cigna. I have that done on April 6. My pulmonary Dr knows and believes Dr Champions surgical skills are one of the best and he is in full support of me having any surgery Dr Champion reccommends. He says my lungs are doing great and fully expects some of my problems to disappear once I have the surgery. Right now I am kind of depressed after seeing so many of the people here lossing weight and looking wonderful, and knowing I am just at the beginning stages. I found out a co worker from my job is having this surgery TODAY, now I cant wait to find out who she is. Her name is Kim Ivey and I wish her well. So everyone please pray that this process goes quickly for me, I have gained about 25 more pounds since I joined this site and my back is ready to give in. But i keep trying and hopefully in the near future this over 400lb body will began to heal under the direction and guidance of the good LORD and Dr. Champion!!!!
