My first impression of DR.Aslam was he was a very quiet man who seemed to know what he was talking about when he addressed us at our first consultation...His office stall is the best , very helpful and thoughtful..There is not anything I do not like about Dr. Aslam. He is very professional and treats his patients very well and takes the time to listen to you, althogh he is always so busy...His atercare program is very good also..We were told and explained as to the risk of this surgery very thoroughly...On a 1to 10 scale I would rate him and his staff a 10 so far...His surgical competence and bedside manner was both very good also...

Dr Aslam did my lap gastric bypass on September 13th of 2002. I have nothing but praise for him. He is not only a very skilled knowledgble surgon but also an wonderful and caring man. His office staff is the Best also. They have always been very helpful and supportive to me at what ever point of this journey I have been at. THANK YOU DR. ASLAM!!! YOU TRUELY ARE THE BEST!!!!

My first impression of him is that he's SKINNY. He also seems distracted and in a hurry. It was weird though, even though he was "fidgety," I was never worried.
He's obviously intelligent and has a good reputation as a surgeon. He always seems to be rushing but he stops and listens when you have a question. And he answers them. I never felt like he would ignore me if I really needed him. His office staff makes up for his lack of bedside manner. They are warm, helpful and wonderful.
Future patients should know he's focused and gets down to business. He emphasizes aftercare greatly. He doesn't want anyone going home and laying on the couch. He wants you to be active, active, active! Although his aftercare program could use some sprucing up in terms of graphics and better copies, nothing is missing and it's all current and up to date. Dr. Aslam didn't really address any risks with me...I am really healthy so maybe that was just for me...Overall I rate him as intelligent, focused and kind. He's not warm and fuzzy, but he gets the job done and he gets it done right!

I have met him on 2 occasions the first at an initial group consult and then a the monthly support meeting. I was very impressed he always took the time to answer all the peoples questions. at the support meeting he went around the room and took questions fro each person. I do beleive I pick the right doctor. His staff has been just as helpful. When I have a question or problem I can call or send email and I always get an answer back.

Dr. Aslam is very soft-spoken. He seems to be a strong advocate of Benadryl for whatever ails ya, to the point that I wonder if he makes a commission on local pharmacies' Benadryl sales.
I sort of wish I'd met him more than once, for a minute, before my surgery. I'm not a fan of some of the things he says and does, like suggesting I remove my liquid stitches with nail-polish remover.
He was a good surgeon and did a good job but his bedside manner as far as aftercare has left something to be desired.

Dr. Aslam is a very kind and gentle man. Exptremly professional. He is very busy as well but because he is the best there is.
My impression of him has remained the same, I respect him and all that he does.
His Staff are very caring and helpful. His nurse is wonderful. I do know that with out that staff he couldnt do this, they work as a team.
I would diffently see him agian.

Well first off my consult was orginally scheduled for Dec 4th 2003. Then I received a letter telling me it had been moved up to June 9th. Then, I called on Friday March 28th and found out that they had a cancellation forthe following Monday, March 31th. I took that with no hesitation.
I met the office staff and Dr Zaidan at the consult. They are all very helpful, wonderful people. Awesome office staff! I have not yet met Dr. Aslam but plan on doing so within the next few weeks, if all goes well. I have gone to several Support Group Meetings that Dr. Aslam has spoken at. He is straight to the point and very informative. On June 6th I was asked by Dr. Aslam to speak at an In service at the hospital. He speaks so that we can all understsand and also, tends to hide from a camera! LOL I asked him if I could get a picture of him with me, and he ran! lol he don't do pictures :) He very personalable and is extremely professional. Monday, June 16th I have my one on one appointment with him.

I met Dr. Aslam for the first time on 01/09/2003. He is a very quiet man but clearly knows his field of work. I felt very at ease and comfortable with him and look foward to meeting him again before the surgery.
04/15/2003: Had my family history and consult done. Was scheduled for surgery 04/22/2003 but had problems with my primary insurance not covering and Dr. Aslam was straight foward and concerned for me being "stuck" with the full bill if my insurance didn't cover. Since I had a secondary insurance, we went that route. I was upset that day having to postpone my surgery but I can see that Dr. Aslam clearly cared for my well being and I thank him for that. Surgery is back on for 05/09/2003.
Dr. Aslam has a very definite course planned out for his patients and the surgeries they will undertake. The monthly support group is very structured and informative to new comers. I felt as if I had been a member for years my first support group meeting.
Office staff very helpful and caring. I relied on them many times for questions and helping me with all the requirements.
