Robert O'Rourke Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

I won't be meeting him until 10-7 thats a few days from now. But I'll let you know.

I liked Dr. O'Rourk, He was very helpful,
He listened to me and was great in the hospital. when I needed help I got it soon. Such as Meds, IV Change. etc. I continue to follow up with him and his staff. They tried to answer all my questions ASAP. I was suprised that they knew what blood tests to
run, considering I have Lupus and a bleeding disorder. I'm surprised they would take a risk with me. But now I am so happy they did.
I think The One thing that concerned me is that I really asked for Dr. Deveney (A more skilled surgeon) and they pulled a swith-a-roo. I believe It was because I'm on Medicare. And Dr. O'Rourk needed more experience. Dr. Deveney Did assist however.
Overall, I thought I got exellent care.
Better than I expected. It worried me that the Dr. Wanted me to eat pureed and soft food right away. Of course I couldn't.
All in all I think he is a very good Dr.
I would recomend him. And I am okay with the switch.
