Harper Hospital (Cori Center) Hospital

I found it interesting that at every turn i was asked the question about allergies and I told them adhiesive tape and yet I have red welts everywhere they taped me. Also, if you get a headache post op, there is only one place to put your medication (wink, wink)and it was interesting that the nurse actually missed!

They did not take care of my daughter in the proper way. When call button was pushed and asked for help, the waiting began. They did not call doctor when my daughter was having problems and when Dr. found out she went and talked to them. This was my experience with this hospital stay. I was there for outpatient treatment a while back before this and on that floor they seemed to be pretty good. I was so surprised at the trouble my daughter had for a seven day stay.

I did not have my surgery done at this hospital, but my mother just did. While the surgeon is top notch, the hospital is a far cry. At one point after surgery, her IV started leaking. I called a nurse for her, and it took the nurse 30 minutes to come and check on her. After the nurse took the IV out (she said she had to put it in somewhere else), it was over 3 hours before anybody came back in to replace it. They did not seem very attentive at all, and her overall hospital experience was not satisfactory.
