Harper Hospital (Cori Center) Hospital

The nurses were fantastic. They allowed my mom to stay in the room with me and I was so impressed with their continuous care. They were constantly checking on me and asking me if I had any pain. They were honest and encouraging. The doctors that came in were wonderful too, especially the Physican assistant that released me. My favorite nurse was Carmen. She was wonderful and sooooo caring. I was absolutely impressed and would recommend this hospital to any of you that are considering surgery in Michigan. The only complaint I would have is the showers are too small for obese patients. I was able to use it, but had I been any larger it would have been a problem. Otherwise, the care was marvelous.

My surgery was 1-7-2004. The nurses were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were quite warm but I was given a small fan to make me comfortable. The showers were VERY small to accomodate large patients. The only complaint I had was that I was not informed by anyone that I should fill my medications before I left. I live in a small town about 2 1/2 hours away from the hospital. By the time I got home the pharmacy in my town was closed. I had no pain medicine for about 12 hours!!! Not much fun.......Other than that I would highly recommend Harper Hospital.
