Mills-Peninsula (COE) Hospital

I was fortunate to be in cardiac ward after surgery so had a private quiet room. On my last night I was put in a room with a room mate, glad it was for only one night. The lady never shut up! But, who says a hospitol is like home anyway...just glad to go home. The staff was great and it was all good.

I too am a hospital employee, and while I work in a new facility and this is an older one.. I found the experience to be satisfactory. The one thing that I would of preferred is to have had a private room.. I had a room mate that snored loudly, and had disruptive visitors .. ..and while cell phones are great .. be sure and turn the ringer down!

Great hospital, I wouldn't spend my vacation there, but if I ever need a hospital again, I'd gladly go to Mills. My wife had one complaint... she is 1.5 years RNY post op... the cafeteria had just about nothing for her to eat, she had to go off campus to eat. But I was sleeping so it didn't bother me that she got out and got some fresh air and food.

Very noisy. I was close to the nurses station but it seemed like they were yelling across the floor to communicate with each other, also there was a really loud screeching and thumping coming from the floor above me (they said was a cafeteria) but everytime they made that noise I would jump in the bed and it would hurt my stomach. The staff was very nice and helpful, no bad experiences there.
