I found the staff and the hospital to be wonderful. They were very responsive to my needs and tried hard to make me feel comfortable.

The staff on the 12th floor where I stayed were so very professional, from the head nurse to the cleaning staff. They all worked together to make your stay comfortable. The only negative thing that I would say is when I was discharged on a Sunday ,there were no wheelchairs to take me downstairs so I had to take two elevators and wait in the lobby for my sister who wasn't allowed to bring her infant son into the hospital. Kids under 13 aren't allowed in. I guess this is a plus to some but to me it was kind of stupid .Then there's no valet parking on Sunday and the front of the hospital is blocked off so cars can't come up to the doors to pick you up. The valet service is such a stupid idea for such a small area outside of the hospital. Traffic can be horrendous in this area during the week. But other than that I would definitely chose this hospital again.

Hospital is very easy to get to, clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The only issues I had were the visitor policy (no one under 14 - I have a 3 yr old son that I couldn't see), and the slight delay in patient response during the night shift. So far as medical care and skills, I think that was top notch.

They took really good care of me. When I had complications, my surgeon made me feel self assured that the problem would be resolved, and I would be okay.

Overall, I had no real complaints about my care I received here... I do know that much needs to be done about the dietary restrictions while in following WLS. Also, don't be surprised if you're awaken at 2 am for a bathing, it does happen, and afterwards, I felt comfy enough to sleep another 2-3 hours.

The recovery area of the hospital was excellent. When being placed in a regular room the care was awful. You should plan on having some one with you to help with your needs. The majority of nurses I came across were awful. I also felt the prejudice of being overweight.

I would recommend this hospital to the world. The staff shows genuine concern for their patients.

The hospital overall is EXCELLENT. The nurses and the care there is amazing especially OR nurses and ICU nurses the were the best!!!! The floor nurses well there wasn't some good ones, but the good sure did out weigh the bad. Did have a few problems with about 4 of them, 2 were from transportation. The hospitalis the best regardless of my few run ins. The parking is horrifying and will make you crazy. But,unfortunately where it is located is extremely busy section because it is located next to Children's Hospital. But well worth being in the best place you can deal with the parking. Everything is clean and well kept and excellent security. They have their own police. Would go there again.
