We tried one with our cats because they love to drink from the sink, but it scared them. We finally had to get rid of it because the only thing they would do is put their paws in it and get the floor wet.

a couple of mine like to drink from the sink, too, so I've considered getting one, but I'm afraid they might have the same reaction!

This is the case for my cats, but they splash in the regular water dish too. I was hoping it was because they wanted moving water, hence the fountain. Guess they just like to slash either way.

How funny ... we got a fountain for our cats for Christmas too!

We have three cats and only one of them drinks from it but he is the reason we bought it. No one could even put a toe on the kitchen floor without having him jump up next to the kitchen sink and loudly demand water NOW!

I had always wondered where the term "caterwaul" came from ... now I know!

Good morning Teena and menu crew. I hope everyone is safe, warm and with power this morning. It is very cold this morning, though the wind is causing problems. Ironic we were talking about school closings this week, our school is closed today. My son plays hockey on the school hockey team and his trip is still a go for this afternoon, we have a 3 hour drive in this stuff today...through the Adirondack mountains! Will be a long slow drive.

QOTD - my success is my overall improved health. Prior to WLS I was on 6 medications including insulin and I continue to be med free. I am most proud of that!

Accountability was good yesterday and we did make roasted brussel sprouts with bacon and balsamic, they were soooooo good. ( you will have to try it Daisy!)

B - hard boiled eggs

s- oikos triple zero yogurt

L - left over ribeye

S - Buddig meat

D - unsure as we are traveling, more than likely will be seafood or steak.

Stay healthy my friends.

Picture is from New Years Eve, we attend a large party ( 600 people), great meal and band, open bar, this year the Theme was the roaring 20's, we had so much fun.

great pics!!

QOTD: I have had a hard time with this one, but I can say that despite my challenges of 2 additional surgeries post RNY, I still would have gone this route. I am physically in the best shape of my life at this point in time. I want to keep it up and be one buff chick by the time I'm done lol :)

Checking my flight for tomm morning as we speak - hopefully not cancelled.

no photo today.

It's 13 here in Illinois this morning. Lily and I will bundle up in a few and try for at least 2 miles outside. I will do at least 4 miles total today. Still feeling weak and a bit shaky so exercise yesterday wasdone but not at my normal pace. Accountability was good as food still smells yucky to me. Heres the plan for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter 1 c or less crustless quiche Lorraine D 4 oz cheeseburger with no bun veggies if needed S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. QOTD success to me is keeping the weight off and staying consistent with my new good habits. Have a great day everyone and make smart and conscious choices that head you toward yiur goals!
