Happy Friday!

QOTD: I too only have a pre op perspective but that being said I have learn some things about myself starting this journey. That I count as a success.

B-lance pnut butter crackers (don't judge, need to go to store, lol) banana, hot tea with half and half.

MS-skinny hot chocolate

L-spinach salad, lean hamburger Pattie

AS-skinny hot chocolate.

Howdy,

Here are some photos from my most recent trip to Panama and Costa Rica. I couldn't pick just one ( I own a travel agency and blog) because I take so many pictures (way too many) but here are some highlights and one animal picture while on nature hike. Also, I thought the mannequin photos show you what an ideal body type is like in Costa Rica. Booty is in everyone.... In case you didn't know and big boobs!!!

QOTD: Success for me is doing what I love best which is traveling. Love active vacations and activities. So being able to fit comfortably in airline seat is quite important and my ability to be mobile.

Food for the day:

Lots of coffee and low carb milk

Omelette 2 egg with cheese for lunch

Meat and veggie of some sort

Yogurt low carb for dessert with peanut butter powder

Less than 20 carbs, water and vitamins

Hi,

Panama was a big surprise. I really liked it a lot. They really know how to celebrate xmas and family oriented.

Might retire there..... and its warm!!!!

This was my second time this year in Costa Rica. Love it! i prefer the Nicoya Peninsula on the west coast near Tambor and Montezuma. More isolated and very pretty.

Happy Friday menu gang! Haven't stopped by for a bit so I thought I would say happy new year and welcome to 2018! All is well in my world.

QOTD: Success for me is maintaining my health and improving my heart condition while having lots of energy and staying pain free. So far I am maintaining that. My latest heart tests came back with significant improvement in my cardiac function. My energy levels are fantastic. I feel younger than I did in my 20s.

Photo Friday:

These are from Christmas Eve. My kiddos, ages 27, 21, 19 and 17, all were home over night for Christmas for the first time in years. I got them a whole bunch of boxes and everyone a roll of duct tape to turn our entire living room into a fort. At first they all seemed to be humoring me and my wacky idea but once they got going on building...it was EPIC! They made windows, used markers all over the inside of the fort to 'decorate', strung lights inside it and best of all brought in a TV from the bedroom and we all climbed in a watched The Grinch together. Later in the evening we all went to our town's walk of lights and had a long laughter filled stroll along the lake in the freezing cold. For me, this was the best Christmas I've ever had.

Menu: The usual; B: Greek Light & Fit; L: grill chicken with feta cheese; D: Not sure...maybe beef stroganoff

Accountability: Maintaining 125-130 (129 this morning)

Elizabeth!!! It's so great to see you here!! Your Christmas Fort sounds like such a great idea- so glad they all enjoyed it and that they were all able to make it home.
