One mile jog/walk this morning. Trying to get my time under ten minutes.

30 minute weight circuit. Mostly arms but a little leg and thigh work and slight abs. 15 minute stretching after.

Feels so good to get it out of the way early in the morning.

It is so much easier in the pool than open water....today is the day to sign up for the white lake sprint on sunday or not!  to do it or not is the question.  My coach and husband say I am ready, I know I am but still a little nerves about the open water swim. Just may be crazy enough to do it. lol

if you are looking for somebody on this board to try and talk you out of it... then YOU are crazy :)

go for it!  the toughest part is the swim for first-timers and you obviously have that down.

You will never find someone here saying "Don't Do It"  I think it is in the rules or something like that.  What you will find is people encouraging you to push yourself beyond your comfort zone knowing that you can do it.  I have had it done to me and have done it to a couple others.

If you believe you can do it then you can.

you just swam 2k and you're worried about a .75k swim :)  ?  Even if you go 90 degrees off course, you still have enough endurance to swim back ;)  You got this!  If I am doing a half iron man never having done a tri before, you can do this!  :)
