Shopping at Maurice's and Banana Republic
I will be 13 months out as of August 30, and have gone from 333 pounds to about 170. I went from a size 26 pants to a 10/12 and from 3x top to a XL or sometimes L. Up until today, I really have only shopped at Target, Fred Meyer, and Fashion Bug for clothes b/c I could still buy the "big girl" sizes if I needed to. Well, today I went into Maurices and Banana Republic for the first time since high school and walked out with clothes in size 10 pants, and Large shirts, and not only do they fit, they look good! It is so freeing to be able to walk into any store and just buy something off the rack. I still can't believe the clothes of "normal" size people fit! I love my RNY and am blessed everyday by my decision to have this life changing experience. I still want to lose another 20 pounds or so, but I am feeling good!
