Just kidding,  -- I just got my patches in the mail yesterday. When do you guys apply your patches? I have like three or four different ones, a multivitamin, an iron, I think a B and I cant remember what else..

When do you apply yours? Where do you apply yours? How long do you let them stay on? Do they come off during the day/night?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Ceci

I put mine on right after AM workout and shower, and take off next am brfore next workout

They stay on very well for me

Note

If you are using B12 patch, it is best in AM since taking at night may cause problems with sleeping

I put min on my abdomen, stomach area between my bye and top of pants alternating sites daily.

I put them on at bedtime and take off next am or when applying next nites dose.

They don't come off me unless it has been more than 24 hours since I applied them. I use 5 .

I use 3, they get stuck on and around my shoulder blades every morning after I'm all dry from my shower. I peel them off in the morning.

If I for some reason forget to get them on in the morning, then I've been known to stick them on in the evening and wear them all night to make up for the difference.

They stay on great on my shoulder blades (I had read not to use them after applying lotion, so I only get my back lotioned when hubby is feeling generous LOL)

I stick them on the side of my butt, under my undies, after I get out of the shower and before I get into bed. They hold fine all night and I peel them off when I get out of bed in the morning. I alternate which cheek I stick them on each night, just in case :)

I think I've had an allergic reaction to them. However, I have very sensitive skin and oddly enough once I started wearing them on my shoulder/arm, my face started to itch. I assumed it was something else because it was no where near the patches. I tried stopping them and the rash went away. Very odd.

However, about 3 months after my lap band was inserted, I developed rosacea. My surgeon noticed it and suggested that the problem began shortly after surgery and that he'd remove it to see if I wanted.... ten years later he removed it and I revised to RNY. My rosacea cleared up within a week! See pictures below of my face the day of surgery and one week after surgery. So I'm extremely sensitive.

The first pic is the day before surgery and the second is a week later.

I place mine on at night on my shoulders or belly. For some reason, they won't stick/stay on other places. I can't wear them for more than 10 hours, as I get a rash from them (specifically the iron patch).

I wear mine at night...switched to that during the summer where there might be swimming involved during the day...and have stuck with it. I put them on my chest, so I see them and don't forget to take them off. You only need to wear them 8 hours- so sleep is perfect...
