Good Morning Daisy and menu crew and Happy Holiday weekend. Take the time to Thank a veteran if you happen to run into one in your travels this weekend. We are going camping, coming home on Sunday to work around the house and plant flowers and our small garden. Daisy will appreciate this, there are several large Greenhouses across the border in canada and that is where we buy our flowers and veggie plants.

QOTD - Like Julia , I do not seem to be bothered as much. I always felt it is because I do not have much sugar in my system...I guess my theory is out the window.

B - Premier protein

S - light and fit greek yogurt and buddig ham

L - left over pork chop

S - Almonds

D - I buy freshly ground burger - ( He grinds it while you wait), I am making a stuffed with pepper jack burger and will top it with sauteed onions and mushrooms

Stay Healthy my Friends, Mike

I love chicken wings, there is a place near us that makes a wing with sauce that is mixed with Ricotta cheese, it does not look as good as it tastes. I do not eat them often, but when I do! LOL

Heading to bed now, I have to work nights Friday Saturday, and Sunday. So it will be a long weekend for me.

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!

Cute ducks, Daisy!

No particular plans for Memorial Day weekend.

My sweet daughter had an uncomfortable experience the other day. She is a cashier at a building supply store and her father, who has chosen to stay out of her life since she was 6 months old, came through her line at work. He didn't even acknowledge her at all, just acted like she was a stranger, even though she was wearing her "Saralisa" name tag. He had one of his sons, which would be Saralisa's half-brother, with him. I credit Saralisa with the maturity and composure to wait on him with professionalism and not to break down and cry in front of him or anything. I don't know if I can ever forgive him for abandoning her and choosing to stay out of her life, but I think she's better off with no dad than with a bad dad. It is his loss and he has NO idea what a wonderful, amazing, terrific daughter he is missing out on!

QOTD: Come to think of it, I don't think I got any mosquito bites last year! Maybe there is something to WLS and less mosquito bites.

My picture is of my two dogs, (of course). Blossom - we did a DNA breed test and found out she is 37.5% Saint Bernard, 12.5 Pomeranian, 12.5% ****er Spaniel, 12.5% American Staffordshire Terrier and 25% Mixed breeds - and Tippy who is a Chihuahua. We took them to the groomer and Blossom got a Summer haircut. She is so much cooler now.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

L: lettuce, chicken, low cal dressing

D: beef pot roast meal

S: light n fit Greek yogurt

Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
