my husband (Shrinking Nerd) had installed these special seat belt extenders in my car that were bolted in because the car company didn't make a regular extender. I hadn't needed these but he couldn't drive or ride in my car without them.

So yesterday he removed them and put them back to normal!!   Its so great because the extenders were probably unsafe for me at skinny weight and they were always getting slammed in the door and generally annoying.

Life is good minus 230 lbs (our total combined loss).

Hey Diane....

Never read about one of those NSV's......pretty unique !!!

I plain got to fat to drive one of my trucks....seat all the way back....my belly hit the steering wheel in the normal position..... the only way I could drive it is tilt the wheel up......looked like I was driving a tractor......

Shrinking Nerd is gonna pass us all up !!!

What a cool NSV!   Before surgery, I couldn't fasten the seat belt in my son's car.  I was soooo embarrassed the first time I rode with him and the seat belt wouldn't fit.  Humiliating!

Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.
