Got a lazy day planned today - a little housework and a pedicure. Tomorrow, a nice hike, long but not too difficult.

104.4 today.  Every muscle in my body hurts.  I could barely walk downstairs this morning.  It is actually worse today than yesterday.  I am kind of secretly thrilled with it.  I know the hurt means that I am building muscles.  It's all in the attitude.

Went out dancing last night with my honey.  I wore my new dress even though it was a country music band.  Everyone else wore jeans.  I am not at all sorry that I went my own way, had a great time, but must learn to line dance.

It is know as "DOMS." Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. It is quite common to feel more sore the second day after exercise. It is a good type of soreness and means that your muscles have been stressed in a new way and is a prelude to good changes. :).
