5K Walk

Today I did my first 5K walk. I finished in 56min which is a horrible time but for me that is good. I finished last, which I knew I would, but that is ok. The guy timing the finishes wasn't even at the finish line when I came through.I plan to better my time with each 5K that I do from now on. I also want to try the mini marathon in Indy next May. I have to be able to finish in 4 hours which makes it a 18 min mile walk. I have a lot of training to do by then but that is my goal.
I am still stuck at this weight of 187-190. No matter what I do it doesn't go any lower than 187. Maybe with training for the mini and doing a lot of 5K's I will break the platuea.
