I am 42 years old. I have been fighting the weight battle since high school. When I ws a senior I lost with Weight Watcher and became a lifetime member. Throughout the years I gained all the weight back plus. I have tried just about every diet there is. I was successful with WW once again about 9 years ago. Then I put more on. I got to the point that I couldn't do things and I knew that I needed help because I couldn't do it on my own anymore.
I saw a commercial for lap band and started thinking about that. I never wanted to do gastric bypass, that was too invasive and too many problems could develop. I started my lap ban journey in Oct. 2006. I finally was approved in Sept. 2007. My surgery was Oct. 2, 2007. I am doing great.
