My story,,, I'm 53 (next week ) I'm at my all time high weight ( 280 ) I have had several heart attacks the first being in 1999. I have a 100% blocked right coronary artery from them and now they cant unblock it cause it has turned to concrete. LOL I'm a diabetic since 15 yrs old on the pump which they have said i may or may not get rid of after surgery,,I am having the lap band done ,I am sooo excited ,I just wish my date would hurry up!! ( after a 4 yr fight because of health reasons) I have been over weight all my life, my mom called me a blimp and was always mad at me cause all i could wear was "tents"Then some thing magical happened,,at 11 yrs old i got my first "diet pill" Boy I lost weight like crazy but those diet pills lead to many other drug addictions over many yrs ,, but for 20 yrs "diet pills was a way of life. Funny thing is they (The pills or the doctors ) never taught me the healthy way to eat ,, but they sure messed me up heath wise, and i guess at that point in my life i didn't care much either what happened as long as i was skinny ,, then i went thru rehab and got clean ,, been clean since 1990. Well now with no crutch to help me not eat the pounds started packing on ,, and hasn't stopped in almost 20 yrs ,I have lost 50 pounds soo many times i should weight nothing ,, but i gain back those 50 pounds plus 10, I am soo ready to get a healthy tool to learn to live again . learn a healthy way of life and not be afraid of what people are saying about me behind my back,.especially my kids.But i want this more for my self than any thing in the world,,,I want to live more than 5 or 6 yrs ,, and be off 99% of medicines to live a normal life !!!
