"My first impression of Dr. Pesta was that he was a very sincere person. He really seems to have a passion for what he does, and a genuine concern for his patients. Each time I see him it further validates those thoughts. He is extremely easy to talk to and to voice concerns to. The staff at his office is great. Sally, the program coordinator (who works out of the hospital, not the office), is one of the greatest people I've ever met. She will help you with anything you need help with. L'Nore, the patient advocate, is awesome too. She has had surgery herself as well, and is very candid about the process and what she's been through. I was very impressed with the entire staff.
All in all, if you are looking for a great surgeon I would highly recommend Dr. Pesta. He has great bedside manner, he's friendly, funny, and up front. There is a very structured aftercare program (which is outlined in the "WLS bible") that they provide you with, which has tons of info in it to help you along the way. I feel I couldn't have chosen a better surgeon. Thanks Dr. Pesta.
