
Crock Pot BBQ Beef Brisket with Mango BBQ Sauce Recipe
March 6, 2020When you make this Crock Pot BBQ Beef Brisket with Mango BBQ Sauce it is sure to be a family favorite. Not only is it delicious but it is convenient to make in a crock pot. Make sure to make some extra sauce so you can use it on other protein foods choices. You can also cook it in your oven. It is bariatric-friendly and family-pleasing. Leftovers (if you have any!) can be added to your meal plan for another meal the next day!
Crock Pot BBQ Beef Brisket with Mango BBQ Sauce

Makes 10 (4 ounce) servings
BBQ Beef Brisket
Ingredients
- 3 pound brisket trimmed
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- pepper to taste
- 1 (12-ounce) can diet Dr. Pepper
- Mango Barbecue Sauce (recipe is below)
Directions for Crock Pot BBQ Beef Brisket
- Preheat oven 300°F
- Season brisket with chili powder, garlic powder, and pepper
- Place in a roaster or slow cooker (if you use a crock pot, cook on low for 8 hours)
- Pour the Diet Dr. Pepper over the top
- Bake, covered, 5 hours or until tender. Serve with the Mango Barbecue Sauce (recipe below)
Mango Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 cup mango chutney
Directions
- In small pot coated with nonstick cooking spray, sauté onion until tender
- Add the remaining ingredients, cooking over low heat for approximately 10 minutes
