Vanilla Berry Chia Seeds Parfait

This recipe is made with fresh or frozen berries when combined with the Premier Protein® Vanilla Ready to Drink Shake, giving it that berries and cream flavor. It can be layered with fruit, nuts, or unsweetened coconut flakes. This is a great option for any meal and can also be packaged in a plastic container to take on the go.

Premier Protein® Ready To Drink Shakes: They contain 30 grams of protein, 24 vitamins and minerals including antioxidants vitamins C and E that support your healthy immune system.

Chia Seeds: Despite their tiny size, chia seeds are highly nutritious. They’re packed with fiber, protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and various micronutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and manganese. For the 1.5 tablespoons in this recipe, they have 87 calories, 5.6g of fat, 7.6g of carbs, 6.1g of dietary fiber, and 3g of protein.

Fruit: Strawberries and Raspberries are good choices because they are lower in sugar than most other fruit.


Vanilla Berry Chia Seeds Parfait with Premier Protein®

Ingredients

Optional topping ideas: You could use coconut, walnuts, or any other toppings of your choice on top of the parfait. Keep in mind that the toppings are not factored into the macros below. 

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients, except the Chia Seeds into a blender and blend until smooth. 
  2. Pour mixture into an airtight container and add the Chia Seeds and stir.
  3. Place the container in the refrigerator to chill overnight.
