dANa! wOW! I didn't even recognize you in ur 7 mo PO PHOTOS!! Your looking SooOoOo good! We're still treading about at the same loss! I set my own goal weight of 115 lbs, but I have two sisters that are the same height as me that weigh that much, so I had a little guidance in that. I think that may be to skinny for me in the end because it freaks me out right now to see my knuckles, wrist bones, COLLAR BONES, and ribs! EW! Never in my life have I ever even seen these bones, so it's taking some time to get used to. Lap 237/138/115 rny 2/16/05

Hi Cheryl, good to see you posting on the Feb board, yes it sure has been slow, I guess everyone has been busy with all the new energy we have that they don't post much anymore. Your pics look great, congratulations! Dana

I am having some problems with food (eating that is) I go in the 28th for a scope to find out if there is a problem that can be fixed. Take care cheryl 300/195/?

at the risk of sounding like a broken record (cuz i know i've said this before) i use the Leslie Sansone walking videos, that way i have no excuse to not do my workout. I have 3 different ones so I switch them up daily. They range from 2-3 miles of walkaerobics. It's great because you don't have to worry about the weather and she does a lot of arm work while you walk. I love them so much I do them 5-6 days a week and they are so easy to follow. The ones I have are Walk Away the Pounds and Walk the Walk. Walk the walk is a little harder...more aerobic. you should try them...i recommend them to everyone. steph 350/173/165

Topic: RE: who determined your goal weight for you?
Steph, I'm hearing it too, "you need to stop", "I'm afraid you are becoming anorexic", "You're not going to be healthy". I'm 6 lbs to goal and that puts me at the high end of the normal BMI. I can actually get to 118 and still be in the normal range, but at 118 I think I'll probably be in a size 2 and that's to small IMO. Once I have PS (if I can ever afford it), I'm thinking I'll be in size 4, I don't want to be smaller. At 5'8" - 143 sounds too thin, remember our bones weigh more because we tugged all the extra weight as pre-ops, but your goal weight needs to be where you are comfortable at. Dana

well i just emailed my nutritionist from the surgeon's office and asked her what my weight should be. she said at 5'8" i should weigh 143. i set my goal for 165. that's quite a difference! my mom said over the summer she got up to 140 and she's 5'1"...and she looked ok to me. she thinks that 143 will be too skinny. what do you think?? has anyone had people tell them they're concerned that you'll become anorexic? i've had several people say that to me. and i don't understand why...i mean i do like to eat still. i just didn't know if that's the natural reaction to such a quick weight loss. steph 350/174/165
