Topic: my WOW moment of the weekend!!
Hi all! My husband and I flew down to Nashville TN to visit my family. I havent seen some of them since last summer...what a difference since then!! LOL Well, the last time I flew, I had such anxiety (it was our honeymoon 10/01), I had to ask for a seatbelt extender and I used up 1/2 my dear hubbys seat...thank god he is thin!! LOL Well, this time, I got on the plane, didnt hit the chairs walking up the isle with my wide ass, sat in my seat (only used one seat this time!!), buckled my seat belt....ACTUALLY pulled the seatbelt tight and there was some of the belt hanging!!
but the BEST was I could actually put my tray table down and use it!!! WOOOO HOOOO!! I guess thats what a loss of 153lbs will do for ya!! I was grinning the whole plane ride. I even got up and used the restroom!!!

hi lorraine.
i'll be seven months out tomorrow and think i finally got off a plateau of sorts, too. it seemed i was stuck at 120 lbs down for weeks and weeks. in the meantime, i found i was able to get into the next size down on the bottom, plus, i took the time to re-evaluate my habits. i went back to the basics for a few days just to make sure i was, in fact, following the rules of the pouch. and i started to be more regular with exercise.
it may help if you review what you're doing and eating, just to make sure it's the right stuff.
hope that helps. good luck.

Havent been on here lately! I'm just now back to "normal" from my hysterectomy. That was rougher than the bypass!
Anyways, Im down 102 pounds!!! How do I get my century card? I know its something simple, but I guess I'm having a "duh" moment. This morning I'm at 158! Now whether it will stay there I dont know, but I'm hoping anyway! Ive been getting stuck and flucuating 1-2 pounds since the hysterectomy, but thats good since my doc wants me to start slowing the loss down. Still frustrating though after all the fast loss from the precious months. Guess I got addicted to the scale moving down so fast.
I'm so glad to see everybody else doing so great! Everybody keep up the fantastic work!

Topic: RE: Hi all I have a food question.........
Lorraine, do you how many calories and how much protein you get in? I use fitday.com to track my intake not everyday but often. I wasn't eating enough calories and protein so my surgeon told me to add a protein drink everyday and since Thursday I've lost 3 lbs.
Use fitday a couple of days to see what your intake is. You need to have at least 60 grams of protein a day, should keep your carbs less than 30 grams and calories somewhere above 600. I hear different things on the calories so I can't say for sure, but I do know the protein drink is helping me.
Good Luck,
Dana

Topic: RE: Hey! Have you seen my hair anywhere?
My hair loss has slowed down. I'm not sure if it's because I'm farther out or because I started using the Nioxin Shampoo, cond, and booster.
Thank God it slowed down! I was beginning to feel like a runaway train and the hair loss slowed up before the train went over the edge. I could just here the screeching
